BPS is a software and consulting solutions company, founded in 1995, specializing in costing and profitability studies, performance management and sustainability.  From its offices in Johannesburg, South Africa, BPS provides consulting and analysis services to a wide range of clients across finance, services, manufacturing, telecommunications and technology in both public and private sectors.

BPS is a SAS Institute Certified Alliance Silver Partner and Value Added Reseller.  BPS provides full technical support and training for the software products it distributes.

BPS has achieved international recognition for its work with Absa Bank in South Africa from Julie Mabberly, formerly of PwC and author of several books on Activity-Based Costing and Performance Management in Financial Institutions.  Absa’s ABC deployment was rated as being amongst the top 5 financial institutions in the world.

BPS’s Managing Director, Nick Grenfell, has advised the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants on the development of their Strategic Management Accounting Forum and sits on the Executive Committee of the Society of Cost Management.

Grenfell is a regular speaker at both South African and international seminars including United Nations, International Institute of Research, Marcus Evans, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, SAS South Africa User Conference & SAS International Forum.
